Goodbye and Thank you - Father Saban

This is indeed a brief note to say Thank You so much! Your kind and words, generous gifts, expressive cards and hugs and handshakes have indeed surprised me and humbled me. But I also Thank You for all the ten years I have served here. Visitation always had a wonderful reputation as a parish that is alive and quite lively! I got to be part of that. All the people who serve the parish by means of Church or school, CYO or PREP, Altar servers and cleaners, employees and volunteers, you have, together, filled me with life and hope and a wonderful affection! I hope I returned that many times over. There are so many things I wish to express as my ten years here closes, but time and paper do not allow that. Know you have been a gift to me, given by God and I thank Father, Son and Holy Spirit for that! You make a profound difference! As I move on, that will be the legacy you all give me and I am grateful! May we all continue to walk in the light of faith until we all meet again in the glories of heaven.

Gratefully yours,

Fr. Michael Saban, Parochial Vicar
