I would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to Fr. Mulranen as he re-joins our parish family. It is such a blessing to have him here with us to minister to the great people we have.
It’s also a great blessing to have him here personally. I look forward to learning from Father Muhlranen’s years of experience and wisdom. And also, to have a meal together. Please welcome him as you did me to the parish family.
A couple of updates:
Summer is here and the grounds look beautiful so a big thank you to the Baldassari crew for making our home look nice.
I have been talking with some people who find it hard to walk the steps in the upper church. In the five year plan, we will put in an elevator to alleviate this but in the meantime, please, if you find it is too difficult to walk the steps, call the rectory and we set it up to have one of our nice young sacristans come down with a wheelchair and assist you inside.
We are looking into putting missals back into church so that everyone can sing during Liturgies. We hope to have them back in by the Fall. Thank you for your patience.
As we continue to being our parish to life during the pandemic, please feel free to e-mail any ideas you may have about the life of the parish that will help us grow closer to our Lord. My e-mail address is in the bulletin. I’m open to any ideas you may have as we all love this parish family.
More updates to come in the coming weeks. Let us all strive for the incredible humility found in our Gospel today of the woman who simply wanted to touch a piece of Jesus’ clothing to be healed.
May the Lord give you His peace,
