FRIENDS HELPING FRIENDS - THE PETKA FAMILY

Many of you have heard the news of the devastating house fire that one of our families, the Petkas, experienced last week. We are grateful to God that Mr. and Mrs Petka, Teagan and Breylan are safe and unharmed by the fire that overtook their home on Wednesday evening. The Petkas have been overwhelmed and humbled by the generous outreach shown already and, as you can imagine, it is a daunting task to thank each and every one that has reached out. Please know that they are grateful and that they feel the love!

We, as a school and parish community, have set up a relief fund for the Petka family to help them with the incredible financial expenses they are experiencing at this time. They are insured, and the house can and will be rebuilt; however, it is going to take many long months and in the interim, they have additional housing, clothing and numerous other needs.

Our Visi community has shown us time and time again that we are supportive, loving and caring.

Checks should be made payable to Visitation BVM

Visitation BVM School and Parish will distribute all donations to the Petka family.
