Matt Maher Returns . . .
For the fifth time, Matt Maher will headline this year's AbbeyFest, Saturday, September 22, at Daylesford Abbey in Paoli, PA. 

Matt has become an AbbeyFest favorite and a staple of our festival experience in celebrating Faith, Music and Family.

His memorable performance of “Lord, I Need You” in 2013 on his knees at the World Youth Day in Rio to a crowd of over 3 million people including Pope Francis, rocked the world (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZa6spYqHsA).

Since his 2008 major label debut, Matt has become an eight time-GRAMMY nominee.  He has written or co-written five No. 1 radio singles and garnered radio time with songs like “Hold Us Together,” “Christ Is Risen,” “Because He Lives (Amen)” and “Your Grace Is Enough.”

​Then there’s his rockers:  “On My Way,” “Firelight” about Mother Teresa, “Woke Up In America” and “All The People Said Amen.”

In addition, Matt has penned songs recorded by Chris Tomlin, Crowder, Third Day, Matt Redman, Hillsong, Casting Crowns, Jesus Culture and Bethel among others.

In 2015, Maher was awarded his first RIAA Gold certification for his popular single “Lord, I Need You.”
