VISIMOMS MEETING - The Visimoms, a group here at Visitation for all moms, will meet on Thursday, April 12 at 7:00 in the Larkin Center. We Catholics begin our tradition of the Triduum with sharing on Holy Thursday God's gift of His Body and Blood, and conclude with the celebration of Our Lord's Resurrection. These traditions are so relevant to us even now. Eucharistic miracles in which the consecrated host has suddenly bled, continue today: in Germany in 1970, in Betania, South America in 1991, and when Pope Francis was archbishop in Buenos Aires in 1996, --the same miracle as the one first reported in Lanciano Italy in the 8th century. (You can still see the bleeding host in the Lanciano church today - 1200 years later!) Who could ever doubt the Real Presence of God in the Eucharist when He continually gives us such miraculous signs? And we experienced Christ's crucifixion on Good Friday, came then to know the hope of the Resurrection that comes with Easter, the most important feast of the church. Our April 12 discussion will focus on our celebration of Easter using the book, "Conversing with God during Easter,"
which is based on the Lectio Divina idea of sharing about Sunday's readings, followed by reflections and prayers. Come join us! For more information, please contact the Rectory at 610-539-5572.
