This weekend we celebrate the Holy Family, which is so appropriate for us to celebrate this time of year. It is in and through this Family that we learn how to be a true family of faith. We get together with our families during Christmas season and enjoy each other’s company and are able to rest with one another.
The Holy Family shows us how to love one another. They show us how to stick together through crazy times. We give thanks this weekend for having such a good model for us.
I would like to thank our parish family for making this Christmas so beautiful in the crazy times we are in. It is the love we share with one another in this season of giving that we learn to stick together. Thank you to those who spend months organizing and executing the Christmas Bazaar. Thank you to our teachers and administration down at school who continue to do their ministry with love through the suffering of this time. Thank you to our choirs and cantors, our Eucharistic ministers and lectors and altar servers. Thank you to our awesome deacons and to Fr. Mulranen who has brought so much love back into our community. Thank you to Sister Diane and our PREP for being so dedicated to teaching our youth the faith and the countless preparation hours it takes. Thank you to our CYO and HASA and all the many other organizations who care about how to make our children well-rounded young men and women.
We celebrate our Holy Family and our parish family this weekend as this year comes to a close. As we end 2021, let us count our blessings as a great parish family and may the Holy Family watch over us always.
May the Lord give you His peace,
