2019 Christmas Bazaar Basket Raffle New Item Collection

The Visitation BVM Christmas Bazaar Committee is seeking donations of new items or gift cards/gift certificates for the Basket Raffle. Thanks to the generosity of our parishioners and the local business community, our Basket Raffle has been a huge success. We would like to ask all our parish families to consider donating. Perhaps you have a new, in-the-box,  unwanted gift that needs a home or an unused gift card or extra tickets to a sporting event or theater. Or perhaps you could find a super sale on an item that would make a great addition to a gift basket. The Basket Raffle committee could use those items for the themed baskets. Your donation for this appeal can be dropped off to the Rectory until November 6th.  As thanks for your generosity, please attach the tag below to your donation with your name and phone number to be entered into a special drawing for a $50 Macy’s Gift Card. The winner will be announced at the close of the Bazaar on Saturday, November 23. God Bless You for all you do for our parish.

The Christmas Bazaar needs “Homemade” cookies, cakes, muffins, pies, gluten free and Italian cookies for our annual parish fundraising event. Baked Goods can be dropped off at the school gym on Thursday, November 21th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm and Friday November 22nd from 12:00 – 6:00pm. Every baker will be entered into a raffle to win a $25 VISA gift card. For more information, call Barbara Siso 610-631-0371

2019 Christmas Bazaar - Spiritual Addition
Visit the Prayer Grotto in Honor of
Sister M. Germaine, CSFN

This is to honor Sister M. Germaine, who passed away in July at the age of 105.  She had taken care of the Adoration Chapel for many years until she left Visitation at the age of 97.  Spend some time in Prayer with our Lord in front of the Blessed Sacrament in the Grotto which will be set up in the school hallway during the Bazaar on Nov 22nd and 23rd.  Sister Germaine's picture will be there and we are giving out a momento. There will be a blackboard for people to honor teachers and a book of remembrance for people to write the names of holy souls to remember, since Sister Germaine’s mystery in religious life (91 years of religious life) was the Souls in Purgatory.
